We strive to support the critical need of diapers for Detroit babies and toddlers in need in our community.
Learn MoreDiaper need is a problem that has been practically overlooked, because other basic needs like food and clothing and housing dominate headlines. The Detroit Area Diaper Bank shut its doors about two years ago, leaving many Detroit families who cannot afford diapers with no access to such a necessity. An insufficient supply of diapers is harmful in a plethora of ways to the growth of a child and the well-being of his/her family.
We plan to be a resource to the struggling families of Detroit, providing them with fresh, clean diapers through fundraising, diaper drives and donations. We do this by partnering with organizations, business/individuals who also want to be a part of the solution.
2 weeks each year connected to National Diaper Need Awareness Week in September we run events and diaper drives to collect diapers for Detroit babies in need. Our culminating event is a city-wide diaper drive partnering with Development Centers, the Detroit Police Department, and additional resource partners.
